9 Months Old!

Another three-month milestone, and we're doing super! Just having lots of fun. Their personalities are really starting to shine.

Signe: persistent, curly-haired, ticklish, brave, puppy-like, and hilarious. Smiles at everyone when she's with Mama, gets stranger anxiety often when Mama's not there. Crawls as quick as she can across the room when I start reading a book, and turns the pages when I offer. Begs for food. Loves being close to her sister and laughing at her antics, while occasionally pulling her hair with a mischievous grin.

Freya: my sweetest pea. Plays on her own for such a long time with blocks, letters, books, etc. Shares her toys with Mama, Daddy, and Signe. Toothy, straight-haired, and a slower-blooming but wonderful smile. Bounces and dances and shakes her bum while sitting and standing. Will hone in on a dandelion from 10 paces, crawl to it, pick it, and spend minutes chewing on it.

I love them both so much and feel incredibly blessed to have them in my life. And I know Daddy feels the same way :-)

Enjoy a cornucopia of pictures to follow - we've done lots and lots of fun things in the past week!

Freya really wanted to drink the pool water. Are we not giving her enough to drink? Or is it that she likes her water bug-flavored?

Hehe bundled Signe

Papa Jack having tons o fun letting Signe chew on his beer bottle (beer was gone:-)) Here she was using her feet to help push the bottle into her mouth

This and lots of pictures to follow from Cynthia and Justin's beautiful wedding. The girls did amazingly and it was a very fun time.

I wrapped the present...Kurt was not impressed

There were lots of other kids there - fun times! One of the boys was just a week older than the girls. We got to compare developmental notes.

Freya watched Catfish Stevenson for it must have been half an hour. Just stood there and watched and watched, bouncing and making little happy noises. She loves live music and/or bluegrass I guess.

Corn hole!

Caught in her wild habitat eating her natural prey, purse straps

They LOVE this couch. They can look outside, bounce around, and feel tall. And one adult can keep them safe since it is a smaller couch.

Nana Carol playing along!

Classic Signe, playing under a chair with a cat toy

She climbed up on this laundry basket herself!!
