Adventures in the Frozen Tundra

I have to pat myself on the back for taking the girls to lots of adventures outside the house to make up for never being able to go outside. It's really for my own sanity, but I don't think the girls mind too much ;-)

We've gone to an indoor playground a couple times - put on by MSCR, just a gymnasium full of toys and a play structure and other kids. It's great. Guaranteed fun until they are so tired and hungry they're bleary-eyed. And only a 5 min drive from us, what a deal.

We went last week again to the Children's Museum. Always a good time and better every time as they get older and more independent. Freya took a little bit of a tumble, her mouth started bleeding, and we got to see how great the employees are at rendering first aid. (not sure exactly what happened but I think she bit her cheek or tongue, it bled a fair amount, she cried for 30 sec, then it never bothered her again). I was impressed. Freya was completely fine within about a minute but they still wanted to help  Including trying to apply an ice pack to her face. Not gonna happen for another 2 years at least. Adventure!

Got my neck bag, my two giraffes, ready to explore

Maybe I'll take the neck bag off actually

Almost nothing is safe...

We had a stale old hot dog bun sitting in the fridge...I gave it to Signe when she was very fussy while I was making dinner, she chewed it for like half an hour and was totally happy. I hope you people are writing down these amazing child care tips.

Ready for the yacht

Thanks for sharing Signe

Found her sitting here

And here. The climbing is ridiculous. Just witnessed Signe get off the couch via the arm rest today. I'm a little afraid they'll be able to scale fences by the time we get to play in the backyard again.
