The babies and I went to Alchemy with Cynthia and had an excellent time. She complimented them on their very nice restaurant skills. Now I know I can go to a restaurant with them by myself if I so choose. As long as it has space for a giant stroller, two car seats, and two high chairs.
Then our Rhythm and Booms Saturday was full o fun. We visited Mike and Cathy Perry, my late pregnancy/early infancy helper angels. They gave us patriotic dresses, now we're prepared for the Fourth, thanks! Then we went to Heidi and Adam's wedding reception, which was lovely. And Heidi was even brave enough to hold Freya while wearing her wedding dress! Then we impulsively took up Spencer and Kelly on their offer to come swim at Spencer's parents' pool. It was glorious. And the babies did well, particularly with Kurt. It was cold water (their heater broke), but when Kurt held them against his chest they were willing to be submerged a bit. And they got to wear their darling hats. Then we got to hang out at Nana and Papa's with them and the Meier family and play fun games.
Kurt and I were so impressed with our little flexible amazing babies. They let us put them down much after their bedtime, then took them out of bed and put them in their carseats, drove them home, then put them down again. And they stayed asleep! Thanks for making our lives easier girls. They're truly little blessings.
Feed me!
Both enjoyed chewing the table
Aunt Kerry gets some Signe crawling time
And some mutual chewing time
Signe tries to pull herself up on exersaucer, Freya tolerates it
Needs to be reading three books at once like Mommy
Kurt figured it out - they love my phone, why not give them his old phone to play with (sans battery)
Freya congratulates Heidi (and Adam). No spit up on the wedding dress, success!
Pool time at the Nigl's! Signe with Daddy
Go Signe!
A smile in the pool!
Attempt at a family picture, bombed by Spencer
Aaaand the best one still has Spencer in the frame. I know he's just jealous of the swim caps (thanks Meg!!).
