We converted the back hallway through the use of high tech materials (curtains and scraps of fabric from St. Vinny's), and bought a crib. The girls seem to sleep better in there, definitely better naps at least. It's much darker than our room during the day so that helps. They're sharing a crib mostly successfully. We have had a few head-kickings but nothing too bad. We have thus been initiated into the monitor-listening set. It's nice to have our bedroom back down to two occupants (able to read before bed, in bed, yay!). It's not as fun to have to walk across the apartment to soothe fussy babies. Eyes on the prize of sleeping through the night though.
The girls' teething has ramped up - I imagine we'll get a couple poking through soon. We just got some tablets and rescue remedy last night (thank goodness for Happy Bambino being open until 7, I've had at least 3 instances of getting stuff we needed THAT night at 6:55pm). Already they seem to be working - their naps are longer and they don't seem quite as fussy.
I'm sure we'll have some fun adventures to report from this weekend - with highs predicted to be 90 both days, we'll have to do something to keep cool. Maybe even the beach???
