Kalahari and First Snow Winter 2013-14

First time I've posted a week after a previous post in months...hope you enjoy :-) It was my last week of work, yes, I'm back to staying at home again. The many changes in the Pedersen household! A very convenient week for me to start staying at home because I have pies and cake to make. In other words, brace yourself for Thanksgiving and birthday pictures in a week!

They do this sometimes in the car and it's incredibly adorable. Not to mention convenient because they can occasionally be convinced to hold each others' hands instead of mommy/daddy (whoever is the passenger in the car)

Rebecca, Charlie's momma, getting a taste of multiple toddler lap. The girls take it for granted, Charlie is concerned.

 More hand-holding at Kalahari

 Cheesy/serious

Pretending to go night-night with daddy in the living room

Signe bringing me a gift of a Ray cat. Poor Ray. He takes it like a champ.

They are getting more and more organized in their chaos. Opened the refrigerator, took out a bunch of stuff, carefully piled it on the table - nothing on the floor. Sidenote, reminded by the picture - they get to take half a Flintstones in the morning, like daddy (well he takes a whole one), and they are so happy about it. It's pretty nice. Sugar has its place...

The aftermath of my little monkeys' snack. They enjoy peeling themselves if we start it for them. This week we went through two bunches of bananas between Wednesday and Saturday. And that includes being at daycare all day Thursday.

Investigating the first snow they can really walk in. All gussied up in snowpants, mittens, hats, boots, jackets. Freya in particular is in love with her snowpants, she wants to wear them all the time. Freya is in light pink/red hat, Signe in bright pink/blue hat

 More exploring

Two ships in the snowy day

Sometimes sharing a playstructure platform is hard...Freya wanted it for herself and didn't want pictures taken

That's Signe. And that's the delicious slow-cooked onions carefully picked out of her beans and flung. Sigh, I blame Aunt Kerry :-)

Pretending to go night-night on their changing pad together (while preparing for real bedtime)

 Morning snuggles
