In other words, prepare yourself for dozens of pictures at the playground. I took 143 pictures in one session. It was great to be able to capture all the fun since Kurt was able to come with us after work. Again, soooo thankful for the warmth and the late sun.
To keep my sanity I have to imagine the overwhelming feelings of joy and thankfulness all us northerners feel at the long-awaited onset of spring makes up for our long dreary grey winters. Right? Or are we all just suckers for not moving to California...We were outside for a total of around 4 hours yesterday with the high in the mid-50s. Can you even imagine being able to do that ALL YEAR ROUND. You could even eat nearly every meal of the day outside ALL YEAR ROUND. Seriously if there are any unhappy kids in California you can just put all the blame on yourselves parents. I kid, I'm just jealous.
We had a great Easter - gone all day long and the girls did great. We had brunch with Grandpa Jim and Pat in their newly redecorated house - it was lovely. The girls especially loved Pat's huge teddy bear collection. They sat in her kids' rocking chairs from when they were little, very cute. Grandpa and Pat got the girls Easter baskets and even got me and Kurt one! Then we headed over to Watertown and celebrated with Aunt Kris, Uncle John, and Great-Grandpa Bill (and Grandpa and Pat again). More delicious food, more Easter baskets, more fun. What nice times with family. The girls are so lucky to have these lovely people in their lives.
Enjoy a deluge of pictures!
